Let’s get messy + make a little printmaking magic together. ✨ Join us for a casual hangout where we’ll explore fun, low-key printmaking techniques like potato and citrus stamping, freezer paper screen printing, and block prints. Bring your old tees, totes, and tea towels to upcycle and experiment on. No experience needed—just bring your curiosity (and maybe an apron)!
We’ll provide examples, gentle guidance, and a few basic supplies to get you started. Meet with us in the lower level of the Washburn Library in the Wikdal Room from 4pm-8pm.
We encourage you to bring materials you already have at home to use or share for the day at the community resources table!

What to expect during this casual community art hangout:
🎨 4pm—5pm: Early Bird Community Set-up!
Feel free to arrive at your convenience. We’ll be putting out supplies, setting up tables, and art’ing together as people show up.
🎨 5pm-7:30pm: Playful Printing!
Let the creativity begin! We’ll officially start the art hangout at 5am. Connect with others (or enjoy creative solitude) as you work.
🎨 7:30-8pm: Community Clean-up!
Return supplies and pick up your personal space. If your schedule and physical ability permit, volunteer to help put away tables, chairs, and community supplies!
